New Dots Printables Added!

I finally got around to adding my last 3 pages to Etsy and figured I would show them off here!!

The first one is my Bills and Budget page

The next one is The Child’s Chore Chart.  My daughter loves this one and can’t wait to fill it out and add up her reward points.  I might be making a reward chart to go with this in the near future as well as one for boys.

The final one for now is the Auto Maintenance Log.  This has been very helpful since hubby and I would always forget to do all regular maintenance until something would go wrong.  This has helped us keep on top of it.

As always, these can be purchased at my Etsy shop at any time.  I have also added one where you can purchase all the printables as a package rather than individually.  It’s a 25% savings!!!

I’ve had some wonderful bloggers doing reviews on the Dots Planner Set and thought I would share what they had to say.  Please visit them and show them some loves.

An Alphabet Trip to Limerick Zoo by Jeannette Ramirez Review

I had an opportunity to read this book to my son and he couldn’t stop giggling!

An Alphabet Trip to the Limerick Zoo is so bright and colorful, and I simply adore the illustrations.  The artwork was created by college students at the AIC College of Design and they are phenomenal.  The book  also comes with a coloring book with all the same pictures that your kid, (or you if you want to get super artsy) can color themselves.

The limericks themselves are quite fun to read, although some of them were a little harder for my 4 year old to understand.  That didn’t stop him from loving the book though!!

I highly recommend this book, even if its for the artwork alone.
It’s available as an E-Book as well, however, my opinion is that a book like this would be best in printed form.

Watch the You Tube video to preview it for yourself!!

Healthy Eating for Kids by Trevor Dumbleton Review

I received this E-Book to review and so happy about it.  The book is full with healthy snacks and meals for kids that are also fun to eat.

There are fun snacks like ants on a log, (what kid doesn’t wanna eat bugs?  Maybe it’s just mine) lunches like Peanut and Apple Wrap (which I want to eat) and dinners such as Squashed Mac-n-Cheese (gotta hide those veggies right?).

It also features drinks and desserts too!

The only thing that this book is lacking in my opinion is photographs of the food.  We eat with our eyes first, and I truly wish that all cookbooks had pictures for every recipe.

All in all I would recommend this product, for families with picky eaters or anyone that wants to make fun, healthy meals.

This E-Book can be found on Amazon.

Talk Turkey Review

I was so excited when I got the Turkey Talk E-Book written by Leslie Nazarian since tomorrow is Thanksgiving and my kids have been making one Turkey craft after another.

The concept of this book is a good one as it teaches children fun facts about Turkeys, and helps vegan parents promote veganism, however I was  unimpressed by the illustrations and general flow of the book.  It does has some fun facts about turkeys that kids might not know, and could be a good book for younger kids.

I personally eat meat and will eat turkey tomorrow so the intended purposes of the book is lost on me, however vegan families may enjoy this book.

If you are interested in this book, it is on sale at Amazon or you can visit the Facebook page.
